The holidays are here and there is plenty of cheer going around the Ohio OVI Network offices.

But with holiday cheer comes plenty of Christmas parties where the punch bowl is pretty heavily spiked. Because of this, drunk driving awareness is heightened this time of year.

As of today, there are no checkpoints scheduled for this weekend. That said, we talked to officers at several stations throughout Ohio that will be working as part of saturation units. That means that they will be out in heavier forces in higher population areas.

Our simple advice? Designate a driver before you go out.
