Checkpoint tonight June 9, 2016 in Elyria, Ohio
ELYRIA — The Ohio State Highway Patrol will have an OVI checkpoint from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. tonight on Lake Road and State Route 57 in Lorain.
The checkpoint, funded by federal grant money, will include local law enforcement agencies and the highway patrol looking for impaired drivers.
Additionally, there will be saturation patrols in the area to stem potential alcohol-related crashes.
