The end of summer is near and the long nights must be used to the max. This weekend is often used to lament the end of long days and beers with fruit in them, which means that the partying around Ohio will be good.
But don’t be a fool: Johnny Law has the technology (read: a calendar) to know that this is Labor Day weekend. As such, they are striving to keep us all safe by stopping drunk drivers. Not surprisingly, there are checkpoints all over the state this weekend. Here’s what we know so far.
Parma Heights will have a checkpoint on Pearl Road from 11 pm to 3 am.
Springfield/Clark County will have a checkpoint in Clark county. They have not specified the time yet
Logan County will conduct a checkpoint tonight on Ohio 366 between 8 pm and 10 pm in the village of Russells Point.
Bratenahl will have a checkpoint on Lakeshore Boulevard, but they have not released the time yet.
Oakwood will have a checkpoint on Broadway from 10 pm to 2 am.
If you’re picking up what the Ohio OVI Blog is putting down, take a brief second from you busy day and like us on Facebook. C’mon, everybody is doing it.
As always, the good people at Taubman Law keep this blog going. Like a blow-up donut a doctor recommends to a patient with a butt injury, they give us the proper support.
