The state of Ohio’s effort to curb drunk driving this summer is in full effect this weekend. There are checkpoints and saturation points all over the state starting this evening. Here’s what we know so far.
Sandusky County will have two checkpoints tonight. The first will be in Clyde from 8 pm to 11:30 pm today on U.S. 20. The second will be held from midnight to 3 a.m. on East State Street, just east of Fremont.
Parma is scheduled to have a checkpoint from 6 pm to 12 am, it will be on Pearl Road, no intersection was given.
Solon is scheduled to have a checkpoint from 9 pm to 1am. It will be located on State Route 91 at 422.
Ravenna/Portage County have announced that they will have a checkpoint in the evening. They did not release details on a time/place yet.
Southington/Weathersfield – In conjunction with The Ohio State Highway Patrol they have announced their will be a checkpoint tonight in Weathersfield from 10 am to 2 pm. It will be on State Route 46.
South Euclid will be out in force Saturday night with a mobile checkpoint. The first location will be on Green Road and the second will be on Mayfield; these checkpoints will be running from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 am.
